Join us as a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician at Dix Hills Animal Hospital. The desired start date is August 1, 2025. This position is full-time with a flexible schedule, open Mondays-Fridays from 8a-6:30p, Saturdays from 8a-2:30p, and Sundays closed.

Requirements

• Current NY state Veterinary Technician License (LVT).
• Love for animals.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle all things furry.
• Preferred 1 year of experience in a veterinary technician role.

Nice To Haves

• Certification & Licensure as a veterinary technician in NY.
• Experience in a veterinary technician role.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care and compassion to pets.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tests, collect samples, take vitals/histories, and run lab work.
• Educate pet parents on pet wellness and care.
• Update electronic patient files and review care plans with pet owners.
• Share love and expertise with the clinic family.
