About The Position

The Lead Retail Customer Service Associate at Opry Shop BNA is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable retail experiences for guests at the Nashville International Airport. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting retail products, and maintaining the store's visual presentation and organization. The associate will also support operational tasks and ensure adherence to emergency protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or cash handling preferred.
  • Possess an outgoing personality and an aptitude for sales.
  • Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, including successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide polite and courteous service to all guests.
  • Provide information about current and upcoming events while actively greeting and welcoming all guests into the store.
  • Actively engage all guests on the sales floor.
  • Provide excellent customer service by adhering to all customer service initiatives laid out by the Retail Manager and brand standards.
  • Actively sell and upsell products based on customer likes and needs.
  • Learn and know the product collections that are carried in each location.
  • Become proficient in the stock available to better assist all guests.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining merchandising presentations throughout the store, including visual presentations.
  • Keep merchandise stocked and the store properly filled and organized throughout the shift.
  • Maintain general order and cleanliness of both front of house and back areas, including cleaning windows, spot sweeping floors, dusting displays, and emptying trashcans as needed.
  • Provide the management team with customer comments and feedback about the merchandise, offerings, and experiences in the store and facility.
  • Take a leadership role in emergencies, ensuring that both guests and employees in the specific area of responsibility follow emergency protocols in accordance with MNAA emergency procedures.
  • Provide operational support, including opening and closing the store, distributing cash tills at the beginning of shifts, and handling cash-out/close-out processes at the end of the shifts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
