About The Position

Two friendly, first-time families are looking to hire a full time, experienced nanny for a nanny share for two infants. The position is located in South Arlington/Alexandria (22204) and involves caring for two infants, ages 6 months and 4 months. The start date is expected to be in late December or early January, with a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, guaranteeing a minimum of 40 hours per week. The engagement is expected to last at least a year, with potential for continued employment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years nanny experience.
• At least 3 years of experience caring for infants.
• Experience caring for multiple infants at once.
• Fluent in English (both orally and written).
• Responsive communicator.
• Vaccinated.
• Up to date CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Eligible to legally work in the U.S.
• Must be a driver with a car and a valid driver’s license.
• Not allergic to cats or dogs and comfortable around pets.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, engaging, learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for infants.
• Focus on creating a sustainable routine tailored to the kids in consultation with the parents.
• Cook delicious and nutritious meals, specializing in baby-led weaning.
• Perform light cleaning and housework as needed.
