About The Position

Verge Therapy is a clinician-owned and operated practice built on the belief that therapy should be relational, not transactional. We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and client-centered Outpatient Clinician to join our inclusive team. This is a full-time, fee-for-service position with opportunities for bonuses reporting to the Clinical Director. In this role, you will provide affirming, developmentally appropriate, and evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and their families. You will be supported by a values-driven practice that celebrates diversity and believes when therapists are truly supported, they and their clients flourish.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Independent licensure (or license eligible) in Massachusetts: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent
  • Experience providing therapy to a wide range of clientele
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with EHR and clinical documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Training or certification in compassionate, trauma-focused approaches such as IFS, EMDR, or TF-CBT
  • Experience with outpatient therapy

Responsibilities

  • Provide client-centered and culturally responsive individual therapy to a wide range of clients
  • Engage clients, families, and caregivers in treatment planning and psychoeducation
  • Conduct developmentally informed biopsychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions tailored to each client
  • Respond to crises with empathy, prioritizing safety and stabilization
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation
  • Collaborate with schools, pediatricians, and other providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Participate in individual supervision, case consultation, and team collaboration
  • Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide timely, developmentally appropriate communication to both clients and families
