About The Position

A private client is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual for a full-time housekeeping position in the Menlo Park area. This role requires a high degree of flexibility, reliability, and discretion, with responsibilities focused on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in a private household. The ideal candidate will have a highly flexible schedule and be available to work 5–6 days per week. Shifts will rotate and may include morning and evening hours. Sample shift times include: 6am - 2pm 9am - 4pm 10am - 6pm Candidates must be able to commute to Menlo Park. Punctuality and on-site availability are essential for this role.

Requirements

Proven experience in high-end residential housekeeping or similar professional setting
Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, fabric care, and laundry best practices
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pristine environment
Flexibility in schedule and ability to adapt to changing needs
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel

Responsibilities

Perform deep cleaning of all household areas, ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization
Manage heavy laundry loads, including care for linens, delicate couture garments, and fine fabrics. Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and garment preservation is essential
Provide evening turndown service, maintaining a welcoming and restful environment in bedrooms.
Assist with household organization and support general upkeep tasks as needed
Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while working in a private home
Be available and willing to travel with the family on occasion, providing housekeeping support while traveling
Provide daily care for three small dogs, including feeding, walking, basic grooming, and general oversight of their well-being
