About The Position
As a Warehouse Associate at Target, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our supply chain. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for packing, loading, and shipping items to stores and guests, ensuring that all merchandise is processed accurately and efficiently. Your role will also involve engaging in problem-solving activities to support continuous improvement within the warehouse operations. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. Attendance at safety trainings will be mandatory to equip you with the knowledge needed to work safely in the warehouse. You will need to maintain a clean and organized work area, report to work on time, and complete assigned tasks accurately and promptly. In this role, you will be required to lift and carry merchandise weighing between 35-50 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally. Physical activities such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching will be part of your daily tasks. You will also need to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to understand and follow instructions in English. This position offers a competitive wage, with opportunities for wage increases approximately every six months for up to 36 months, based on performance and availability.
