About The Position

Full-Time Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in San Diego, California at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group / Sharp Memorial Hospital. Opened in 1955, Sharp Memorial Hospital is Sharp HealthCare's largest hospital and the system's only designated Level II trauma center located in the heart of San Diego County. The position offers a competitive salary range of approximately $255,000-$300,000+, with compensation subject to individual department/division plans. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, paid vacation, CME, and sick time, including an annual CME allowance. The role includes a 2-year shareholder track and paid malpractice, with eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

Requirements

• Medical degree and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Experience in hospitalist medicine preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Interest in becoming a shareholder after two years.

Responsibilities

• Day shifts: Each 7-day period includes 1 admitting shift (2p-8:30pm) and 6 rounding shifts (7a or 8a-6pm).
• Average rounding of 14 patients; 120 patients for the group.
• Night shifts: Admitting portion from 8:30pm-4am.
• Typical schedule consists of 7 days in a row.
• Option to work as a full-time Nocturnist or half-time day/half-time night.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system across the hospital.
