NES Health is seeking a Full-Time Hospitalist Medicine Physician to join our practice at Alliance Health Ponca City, located in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This position offers the opportunity to work in a 140-bed community hospital that is part of the Alliance Health network. The hospital provides a range of services including Radiology and Teleradiology at night, Interventional Radiology, a Stroke Center, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Ultrasound, OBGYN, Emergency Department, Cardiology, and Neurology (teleneuro). Notably, there are no GI or Nephrology services available at this facility. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for admitting 3-7 patients per day, with a daily census ranging from 21-27 patients. The Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will round, see new patients, and handle discharge planning. Required procedures for this role include Central Lines, Arterial Lines, and Intubation. The program also hosts OSU Medical Residents who rotate through the Hospitalist program. The hospital utilizes Meditech as its EMR system, with an annual visit count of 15,750 and a 10% admission rate from the Emergency Department, which uses Medhost EMR. The work schedule consists of a 12-hour physician shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, with remote on-call responsibilities from 7 PM to 7 AM. The APP will work a 10-hour shift from 7 AM to 5 PM. This position requires an active Oklahoma medical license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted state license. Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) and possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications. It is essential for the candidate to live or relocate to Oklahoma or be within a 4-hour drive of the hospital.
