About The Position

You will maintain the appearance of the grounds of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma properties. You will report to the Landscaping Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State Issued Driver's License.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral directions for tasks.
• Understanding of government public health regulations.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to performance of the job.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and reach daily and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of lawn equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
• Pick up trash and perform other routine tasks to maintain the grounds.
• Care for established lawns and landscaping by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and planting.
• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and hedge trimmers.
• Perform tree, hedge, and shrub care that includes using shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
• Occasionally remove snow and ice from walkways and drives.
• Keep work areas clear of clutter and debris.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
