Grain Inspectors take on a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure the seamless operation of the facility, which includes tasks such as sample probing, commodity grading, testing, as well as general maintenance. They ensure proper flow of sample testing through the facility and steady flow of grain to the facility. The role includes acting as a back-up to Grain Prober/Sampler, being responsible for accuracy in reporting results, and representing Eurofins Grain Inspection to client companies. Inspectors are also tasked with processing necessary paperwork, inspecting and grading samples in a timely manner, and testing samples of grain by accepted industry practices. They assist in training incoming Grain Inspectors and must adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. The position requires maintaining cooperative working relationships and promoting the company image through sound business practices.
