About The Position
The position involves providing SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures, and programs. The individual will seek out customers to understand their needs and assist them in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise. They will listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary. The role also includes demonstrating sincere appreciation to customers and communicating information regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs. The individual will cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service and will receive and direct calls appropriately to meet the needs of customers and associates. Additionally, they will review daily and weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage and assign backup coverage as needed.
