About The Position

The Food & Beverage Inventory Clerk at Pocola Casino is responsible for delivering products to all food and beverage outlets and ensuring that the correct quality of products has been received. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor or Executive Chef. The role involves organizing, cleaning, labeling, and maintaining kitchen storage areas, as well as performing audits on incoming inventory to ensure accuracy. The clerk will stock products using the First In, First Out model and maintain compliance with food safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of the organization products and services.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and safety practices.
• Physical mobility to lift, load, transport, and unload product.
• Two (2) years previous inventory, purchasing, stock, and kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize, clean, label, and maintain kitchen storage areas including shelves, floor, walls, coolers, and freezers.
• Stock received orders to appropriate storage areas, including unpacking, counting, recording, and stocking.
• Perform audits on incoming inventory to ensure items on invoice match items delivered.
• Stock product using the First In, First Out model to ensure shorter dated product is used first.
• Examine assigned areas to guarantee an organized, clean, and safe environment.
• Inform Executive Chef of any outdated, damaged, or inferior product received.
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy; receive and document merchandise as it arrives.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
