About The Position

The Full Time Floater and Infant Teacher position involves providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while supporting their development and learning. The role requires engaging with children at their level, promoting positive social behavior, and ensuring compliance with state licensing standards. The teacher will work across different classrooms, covering for teachers during breaks and maintaining open communication with parents and management.

Requirements

  • Experience in child care or nanny setting preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active Fingerprint clearance card required.
  • Negative TB Test required.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe environment for children.
  • Treat the children and the center as your own.
  • Engage in meaningful conversation with children and parents.
  • Follow the philosophies and curriculum set by the center director/owner.
  • Be responsive to children's needs and keep them happy and engaged.
  • Use positive guidance techniques to promote social behavior.
  • Help children develop self-help skills during snack/mealtimes.
  • Display respect for cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and religious diversity.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing standards and Safari policies.
  • Use electronic reporting systems to communicate classroom information.
  • Work in all classrooms and cover for teachers during breaks.
