About The Position

The Financial Consultant Assistant at DFCU Financial is responsible for providing comprehensive service and administrative support to a Financial Consultant. This role involves processing account-related documents, assisting clients with inquiries, and promoting investment services to achieve branch revenue goals. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience, preferably in finance.
• Current FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses preferred or ability to attain in 12 months.
• Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.
• Ability to process documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy.

• Experience in financial services or consulting.

Responsibilities

• Process documents related to account opening and servicing.
• Provide general administrative support using back-office systems and procedures.
• Assist clients and prospects by phone and in-branch regarding account servicing and inquiries.
• Act as a liaison with branch staff to promote Investment Services' mission and support revenue goals.
• Promote and support Investment Services and Financial Consultant sales and marketing efforts.
• Provide ongoing coverage of the Financial Consultant's office in their absence.
• Offer occasional after-hours support for Investment Services events.
