Macomb Community College teaching Faculty demonstrate deep subject matter knowledge and provide effective instruction to students using various modalities including, but not limited to, on campus, online, remote, hybrid, and flexible learning. They develop, modify, and ensure currency of curriculum and course syllabi. Faculty are responsive to their students and support their success through timely communication and feedback, assessment of student learning, regular office hours, etc. They are active members of the college community and attend department meetings as required. Additionally, serving as the Program Director (PD), this individual must provide effective leadership for the program including, but not limited to, responsibility for communication, ongoing program planning and assessment, and fiscal management.
