A full-time tenure track faculty position is available effective January 2026, in an Ohio Department of Health approved Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP). Candidates must be willing to teach program lectures as well as college laboratory and clinical sections in any of our locations (Lorain, Elyria, Westlake, North Ridgeville) as needed, supervise college laboratory and clinical adjunct faculty, assist with curriculum development and learning outcome assessment, assist students with their academic needs and work closely with local long-term care facilities to arrange clinical time for students. In this position, the Program Director will work to maintain compliance of the training programs (3) with Ohio regulations governing NATCEPs and consistently adhere to college policy and procedure. Toward this end, duties may include management of certification exam activities, assistance with Ohio Department of Health site surveys, program applications and re-approvals every two years. Ongoing development and review of the Certified Nurse Aide Program for compliance, tracking of certification exam outcomes and advising of students about curricular and discipline-related matters will be required.
