About The Position
Vermont State University (VTSU) invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Nursing: teaching across the Practical Nursing (PN) Program and Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program. Home location for this opportunity is VTSU Castleton campus. The PN and ADN Programs at VTSU are in the second year of transformation from legacy Vermont Technical College. We are excited to grow our faculty complement with new leadership and organizational structure. There are several opportunities for new faculty to create a dynamic active learning environment for students. This is an in-person faculty position that will require the individual to teach both in the classroom and in clinical setting (agency, lab, and/or simulation). Faculty expectations are commensurate with the expectations outlined in the Faculty Federation Agreement and include demonstrating effective teaching and advising; engaging in scholarship and professional practice; and providing service to the University and the greater Vermont community.
