About The Position
Helene Fuld College of Nursing is nationally recognized for excellence in nursing education and noted for its comprehensive, innovative academic programs that are responsive to the healthcare challenges of the future. The College is an independent single-purpose institution dedicated to providing a dynamic career-ladder approach to nursing education, aimed at improving professional practice and contributing to the health of communities. As a Full-Time Faculty member, you will share in the responsibility of formulating, implementing, and evaluating the educational program of the College. This role requires active participation in the planning and evaluation of the educational program, promoting the best interests of the College, and supporting its stated vision, mission, goals, and philosophy. You will also be responsible for maintaining and further developing an academic environment that is supportive of learning, teaching, and community service. In this position, you will identify the learning needs of individual students and provide appropriate learning opportunities that align with the stated objectives. Additionally, you are expected to exhibit competency in the use of college software, audio-visual equipment, and computers, including tools such as email, SonisWeb, Paychex, Scantron, and SharePoint. This role is essential in fostering a supportive and effective educational environment for nursing students.
