About The Position
Ivy Tech Community College invites applications for a full-time teaching position in Fine Arts. The ideal candidate will have a background in foundation level visual art instruction, with a strong focus in three-dimensional design applications, and a background in arts administration or management. They will be well-versed in contemporary and historic art and design practices. A strong desire to help students explore and grow their skills as artists and designers in traditional and contemporary art mediums is expected. An understanding of creative entrepreneurship and business practices appropriate to visual arts is desirable. Candidates must be willing to work within a learning community that is diverse and welcoming.
