About The Position

Requirements

  • Associate degree.
  • Two-to-three years of event coordination, meeting planning, culinary arts, hospitality, food service, customer service, retail, clerical, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with event management software and logistics coordination.
  • Possession of SERV Safe certification.
  • Possession of bartending license.
  • Audio/video experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Event Planning Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate food and beverage requests for College events and meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and college teams for food and beverage services.
  • Provide catering services and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor budget and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment for foodservice areas.
  • Lead event coordination, logistics, and staffing for various events.
  • Collaborate with College teams to enhance student enrollment and community engagement.
  • Create detailed event plans, timelines, and contingency strategies.
  • Serve as a working lead for support staff, including scheduling shifts for events.
  • Oversee the reservation system for campus facilities and approve room rental requests.
  • Assist with technical operations of the theater and event spaces.
  • Facilitate ticketing operations and maintain a safe working environment.
