About The Position

The Full-Time Evening Unarmed Security Officer position in Baltimore, MD, is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents and authorized visitors. The officer will assist Property Management in maintaining a secure environment through various essential functions, including patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings and access points. The role requires a proactive approach to prevent losses and damage, as well as the ability to complete detailed reports on observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Must be able to work the scheduled hours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday from 2PM to 10PM.
• Ability to patrol and monitor premises effectively.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Requires extensive interior/exterior patrols to assigned areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
