About The Position

The Distribution Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the flow of stock within the warehouse, ensuring that incoming materials are unloaded, stored, and organized correctly. This role involves filling orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing various equipment to move materials, and maintaining inventory levels to support timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One year of prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience with pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Ability to problem solve, analyze information, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Must display sophisticated writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, tracks, and maintains working inventory levels in the warehouse.
• Ensures incoming stock is unloaded and stored correctly and safely.
• Fills orders by reviewing orders, picking materials from the shelves, wrapping, and loading onto the delivery truck.
• Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas using pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer programs.
• Assists in counting physical inventory.
• Prepares parcels for mailing.
• Utilizes docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns to increase efficiency and safety.
• Follows all safety procedures and safely operates equipment to move materials.
• Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
• Assists with special projects.
