About The Position

New River Valley Community Services is seeking a full-time Direct Service Professional at the New Life Recovery Center. The Direct Service Professional provides direct services to individuals with a primary substance use disorder (SUD) with or without co-occurring mental illness, in a residential setting. New Life is specifically seeking an overnight Direct Service Professional who will work overnight shifts to ensure the safety of residents. This role provides general supervision, safety monitoring, and assistance with adult daily living skills. The Direct Service Professional would also be responsible for assisting with general support tasks within the facility such as cooking, cleaning and transportation as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with individuals in a caregiving role is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Additional compensation for employees who speak multiple languages.

Responsibilities
