About The Position

The Delivery Driver position at MagicCity Parcel involves providing high-quality logistics services to various businesses in the Birmingham, AL area through the DoorDash platform. Requirements

• Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Prior experience in retail, delivery & logistics, or restaurant environments.
• Ability to operate the DoorDash apps and troubleshoot technology issues.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 20 years of age with a minimum of two years of driving history.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service roles.
• Familiarity with the Birmingham area.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer orders through the DoorDash platform using a smartphone application.
• Deliver assigned orders to customers using a personal vehicle.
• Ensure that delivered orders are complete, accurate, and arrive on time.
• Obey all traffic laws and drive safely according to weather and road conditions.
