The Delivery Coordinator at Lowe's is responsible for coordinating and supporting deliveries from start to finish, ensuring that customer needs are met and that deliveries are executed safely and efficiently. This role involves tracking merchandise, gathering customer information, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors. The Delivery Coordinator also plays a critical role in reviewing deliveries to ensure all necessary information is provided to drivers.

  • Coordinate and support deliveries from beginning to end.
  • Serve as the expert for answering questions and solving problems related to deliveries.
  • Track and ensure merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled, and delivered.
  • Gather detailed information from customers and conduct safety reviews.
  • Act as the gatekeeper and final reviewer of every delivery to ensure safe delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Spend time physically helping with deliveries and tracking item availability within the system.
  • Minimum 6 months of delivery experience in a warehouse or retail environment or 6 months of retail customer service experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • 1 year of experience working in a retail store or customer service position.
  • 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
  • 2 years of experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, deliveries, or installs.
