About The Position

Securitas Security Services is hiring Full Time Security Officer at a Behavioral Health Clinic in Portland, Maine. Our ideal candidate is former/current military, former law enforcement, from a security background or from a healthcare setting. While that is preferred, it is not a requirement and we are happy to teach, train and mentor individuals with less experience. Our healthcare security officers provide crucial support at the clinic and work in close collaboration with medical center clinical staff to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff and visitors.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be comfortable working in a hospital setting
• High level of professionalism
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
• Critical thinking skills

• Must be able to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
