About The Position

The Cocktail Server at Choctaw Landing is responsible for providing exceptional drink service in a bar setting, ensuring guests are satisfied and all alcohol dispensing procedures are followed. This role involves greeting guests, taking orders, delivering beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the service area. The position reports to the Beverage Shift Manager and requires a commitment to customer service and compliance with alcohol regulations.

Requirements

• Can obtain/maintain ABLE Certification
• Read, write and understand simple instructions
• 1-3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain all special promotions.
• Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested; requires memorization of all available drinks.
• Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.
• Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guest to inquire about satisfaction.
• Deliver beverage to patrons while ensuring payment.
• Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of Guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtray.
• Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
