About The Position
The Chemist position at Bureau Veritas involves overseeing and maintaining laboratory testing requirements as needed for customer requests. The role includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing laboratory equipment, as well as being responsible for SQC charts of laboratory instruments. The Chemist is expected to oversee the quality control systems necessary to ensure that information generated by the laboratory aligns with the business needs of the branch and region, and conforms to the company's Quality Management System. The Chemist will assist and monitor lab-related Key Performance Indicators, specifically related to turnaround time and accuracy of data to achieve or exceed budgeted requirements.
