Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Caregiving experience (paid or unpaid) a plus
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if transporting clients)
• Must pass background screening
• Caring, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional care

Nice To Haves

• CPR / First Aid Certification
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or mobility assistance
• CNA or HHA certification
• Experience providing home services to seniors OR enrollment/completion of a nursing or CNA program
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Reliable transportation to client homes

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer medication reminders (non-administrative)
• Escort clients to appointments or errands
• Support mobility and maintain home safety
• Follow individualized care plans and document activities
• Observe and report changes in client condition
