About The Position

Assisting Hands – South Jacksonville is looking for dedicated caregivers to provide 1:1 care to clients in their homes. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation. Caregivers will work flexible schedules, primarily Monday through Friday, with some weekend shifts, and will be assigned to clients within approximately 30 minutes of their home in Clay County.

Requirements

• Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Current CPR certification (In-Person course)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; reliable vehicle
• Completion of Florida State Courses (HIV/AIDS, Alzheimers and Dementia, Assist. with Self Admin. of Med.)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support clients with transfers and mobility assistance
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Offer companionship and transportation services
