As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading a customer-focused, top-line sales-driven, profitable, and productive store location. You will inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors, including fostering a customer-focused selling culture and ensuring the execution of the Store's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will also hold store employees accountable for following all policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of operational excellence. In this role, you will display a customer-focused mindset at all times, ensuring that all team members deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience. You will handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, striving to "solve for yes" and escalating issues as appropriate. Maintaining a clean and well-organized store is essential, as is promoting a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experience. You will share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience and perform as the floor supervisor as needed during non-peak periods. Your responsibilities will also include coaching and providing feedback on Sales Associate performance, supporting associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance, and providing direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standards. You will prioritize and delegate tasks to meet all operational needs, support and execute visual directives, and maintain visual standards set by the company. Additionally, you will drive efficiency in all operational store processes and ensure that all store associates follow all policies, procedures, and safety program practices. Reflecting the PacSun brand, you will demonstrate passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends, inspiring and motivating others by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors. This position requires a passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends, along with effective written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong communication skills, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in math and computer skills are essential. As a leader, you will operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, setting an example for leaders and associates. You will develop and nurture strong cross-functional partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. You will also serve as a Pacsun advocate in the industry and marketplace, recruiting, identifying, developing, and retaining talent that delivers performance excellence.
