About The Position

A busy family of four living on the Upper East Side is looking for a new nanny to join their team. The role is Monday through Friday, from 12 to 8pm, with flexibility to stay late and overnight when needed for OT. The family travels, and the nanny must be able to go with them.

Requirements

• Prior experience caring for multiple young children.
• Very small footprint with no drama
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive.
• Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel with the family domestically and internationally, when necessary
• Exceptional references
• Flexible with the schedule
• Small footprint in the home and ability to work well with others is needed
• MUST be able to stay late and spend the night when parents travel

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two children.
• Manage school pickup and after-school routines, including transitions home.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals (morning staff will stock the fridge) and snacks for the children.
• Handle children’s laundry and maintain the organization of their spaces.
• Perform light cleaning and tidying related to the children.
• Clean up the kitchen at the end of the night and ensure that everything is shut down properly
• Assist with extended hours, evenings, or overnights
• Travel with the family during school breaks or summer months

Benefits

• $50 per hour plus standard benefits
• OT after 40 hours
• Overnight fee
• Flexibility on the hourly rate for top candidates
