We are currently looking for a Full Stack Sr. Software Engineer / Team Lead (Django and React) in the United States. We are seeking a hands-on engineering leader to drive the development of high-quality software in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused solutions. You will work across the full stack with Django and React, translating user stories into actionable development tasks, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices. The position offers the opportunity to shape the team’s workflow, remove blockers, and influence the technical direction of the platform while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. A strong focus on quality, collaboration, and customer impact is central to this role.

  • Leading and mentoring a team of 3–5 engineers across frontend and backend development.
  • Planning, coding, and shipping features while maintaining high-quality code standards.
  • Translating epics and user stories into technical specifications and development tasks.
  • Reviewing pull requests and guiding the team to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions.
  • Managing project delivery timelines, removing blockers, and triaging production issues.
  • Collaborating with other managers and leads to optimize platform performance, reliability, and quality.
  • Ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, automated testing, and technical hygiene.
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience with successful software engineering teams.
  • 4+ years of professional experience with Django (DRF) and React.
  • Experience with asynchronous task management (Celery preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Proven ability to solve challenging technical problems.
