As a full-stack developer, you will maintain and execute a network of simulators and modeling capabilities focused on providing rehearsal and exercise capabilities for various units. These simulators are in different locations throughout the country, and the client's engineering team is responsible for managing the network, maintaining an Authority to Connect (ATO), improving system design and architecture, tier 1-3 troubleshooting during operations, hardware installs, Life Cycle Management, software releases and deployment, new features, and innovation. The software engineering team works on compiling and running from the provided source code, setting up their CI/CD pipeline, breaking down operational requirements for the simulator into manageable tasks or features in JIRA, implementing the tasks or features with various programming languages, assisting in innovation initiatives for the program, improving their skills and knowledge through training opportunities, integrating with other applications and simulations, and creating or improving upon their development environment. As a Software Engineer, you will be operating on an Agile Scrum team and are expected to have daily communication. This job requires personnel who are skilled and effective programmers that can provide onsite support when needed. You will have a lot of growth opportunities within the program and areas for innovation on simulation systems.
