As a Full Stack Software Engineer supporting the Zero Trust project, you’ll help develop and deploy modern Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions across secure, mission-critical environments. You’ll design and deliver scalable web-based architectures that integrate front-end and back-end components, enabling the Zero Trust framework within the Department of Defense. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll develop high-performance applications that enhance usability, security, and compliance in support of the nation’s most critical networks. Schedule and Work Details Location: Government or Contractor Facility, Ft. Meade, MD area Schedule: 40 hours per week, normal day shift

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components for ICAM and Zero Trust applications
  • Build and test scalable web-based architectures integrating Java back-end services with ReactJS front-end interfaces
  • Implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Develop new features and user interfaces to meet customer and mission requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and best practices for usability
  • Modify repository schemas to support new configurable data structures
  • Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Maven, Git, and Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Support customer integration, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts
  • Integrate existing ICAM components using Bash scripts and maintain compatibility across platforms
  • Collaborate in an agile team environment focused on secure and reliable delivery
  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus twelve (12) years of software engineering experience OR sixteen (16) years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proficiency in Java software development and REST API design
  • Front-end development with ReactJS and knowledge of UX best practices
  • Experience with Spring Boot application development and Docker containerization
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration and AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, ECR)
  • Strong understanding of OAuth2/OpenID Connect and PKI authentication standards
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, and data integration workflows
  • Git version control and Maven build management
  • Bash scripting in Linux environments
  • Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Experience supporting SIGINT, IA, or IT domains preferred
  • Experience with ElasticSearch or other indexing technologies
  • Cloud infrastructure experience using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of ICAM architecture and integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Puppet or Ansible for deployment automation
  • AWS Professional/Specialty or Microsoft Azure Certification
  • Experience with JUnit/Mock testing frameworks
  • Experience using Confluence and JIRA
