About The Position
At OpenAI, our Full Stack engineers help power core capabilities that tie front-end experiences with scalable backend systems. We’re hiring across teams including Growth, Ecosystems, Personalization, Search Infrastructure, and Platform Engineering to develop both user-facing features and foundational services that bring them to life. We’re looking for Full Stack Software Engineers who enjoy blending front-end and back-end work to deliver impactful features. In this role, you will:
Requirements
- Have experience with both front-end (React, TypeScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).
- Are comfortable owning features from design to deployment.
- Value high-quality code and polished user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end web applications and platform features that enhance ChatGPT experiences.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and infrastructure teams.
- Design robust APIs, scalable services, and engaging UI components.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of systems you build.
- Contribute to team best practices in testing, architecture, and SDLC.
