Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the DIA-NMEC under the 10-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. This role is pivotal in providing software engineering support across a variety of projects, including internal and contract R&D, as well as advanced system development. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations Engineering/Manager to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. In this position, you will be responsible for developing visually appealing front-end website architectures, translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into functional front-end code, and designing user interactions on web pages. You will also develop and design RESTful services and APIs, ensuring that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered in your architectural solutions. Staying current with developments in web applications and programming languages is essential, as is strategizing organizational direction on emerging technology platforms and effectively communicating these strategies to executive stakeholders. The work environment is primarily on-site at our client location in Bethesda, MD, but we offer a flexible schedule with the possibility of remote work depending on client requirements and deliverables.
