About The Position

The position involves working within Deloitte's Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio to assist clients in solving business challenges through technology. The role focuses on responding to software issues, gathering user requirements, and developing prototype tools to enhance operational efficiency. The candidate will collaborate with clients to create and maintain user interface (UI) based tools that address critical mission issues, contributing to the modernization and innovation of client applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
• Must be willing to work onsite five days/week.
• Three years of experience in UI development.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of experience in UI development.
• JavaScript, HTML, Python, and CSS experience.
• UI framework experience with React and Angular.
• Relational databases experience with Postgres and SQLite.
• Understanding of Containerization in Docker.
• Familiarity with operating systems: Windows, Linux, iOS, or Android.

Responsibilities

• Respond to software shortcomings reported by users of existing applications.
• Gather requirements and rapidly develop new prototype tools/solutions that help customers do their jobs more efficiently.
• Understand the customer's mission, collaborate with team members, gather user requirements, and automate workflows.
• Support client team's development and maintenance of a large suite of custom analytic and UI based software tools.
• Work closely with clients to create and maintain UI based tools that address important mission issues.
