About The Position

HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support the National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA), focusing on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. The Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle. This includes analyzing user requirements to derive software design, designing and coding new software, modifying existing software to add new features, and debugging to correct defects. The role also involves integrating software into new or modified systems and writing or reviewing software and system documentation.

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Java development experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on an Agile development team.
  • Experience with C++.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with React or similar libraries (e.g., Vue, Angular).
  • Experience in consuming and creating REST APIs and WebSockets.
  • Experience with JavaScript 3D libraries such as Three.js.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
  • Debug existing software and correct defects.
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
  • Write or review software and system documentation.
