The Boeing Company is currently seeking Full Stack Software Engineer (Associate, Experience or Senior) to support our Model-Based Software Engineering (MBSE) team located in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization. This position will focus on developing prototypes and new capabilities for web-applications and services. You will design APIs, develop front-end, create data processing and analytics pipelines, optimize SQL queries, and build up a full-stack production-ready infrastructure. In this position, you'll be helping shape the architecture and infrastructure needed to make our prototypes and minimum-viable products production ready. Some examples of the work involved may include but are not limited to researching and selecting technologies and programming languages to use, building reliable and performant server applications using those technologies and languages, and ensuring our applications can scale to support hundreds to thousands of users.

  • 2+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • 1+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
  • 1+ years of experience with Agile software development lifecycle
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience interfacing with databases using SQL or PL/SQL
  • 1+ years of experience with UX/UI
  • 3+ years in full life cycle software development of Java-based (J2EE/ Java Spring) applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment
  • Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks: AngularJs, NodeJS, ReactJS
  • Strong knowledge of UI frameworks and design - HTML, CSS, Figma
  • Strong experience with Go or JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of Kafka, NiFi, Redis, or RabbitMQ
  • Experience with GitLab, GitLab Runner, CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs for complex datasets
  • Experience leading projects
  • AWS cloud experience
  • Understanding microservices, client-server architecture, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and other modern architectural styles to build robust and adaptable systems.
