About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with backend services (FastAPI, Node, or similar) and front-end applications (React/Next.js).
• Deep understanding of building single-page applications, component-driven development, and state management.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and secure client–server communication.
• Comfortable designing and querying SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Hands-on experience integrating ML/AI into applications (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or external APIs).
• Exposure to real-time data streams/messaging (Kafka, DDS, Zenoh, Redis Streams, MQTT, WebSockets).
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews).

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with emerging AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, or multi-agent systems).
• Exposure to robotics/autonomy software (ROS2, PX4, MAVLink, or simulation environments like Gazebo).
• Knowledge of multi-agent coordination strategies, path planning, or computer vision.
• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, Docker, cloud deployments).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (PyTest, Cypress, JUnit).
• Understanding of web security best practices and secure communication in distributed systems.
• Experience with geospatial/3D visualization (WebGL, Three.js, Mapbox).
• Contributions to open-source AI, robotics, or developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LLM orchestration, multi-agent planners) into NODA’s orchestration stack.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and backend microservices for high-throughput, low-latency operations.
• Create real-time data pipelines that process live telemetry, video, and sensor feeds from heterogeneous robots (UAVs, UGVs, UUVs).
• Implement responsive, operator-facing UIs (React/Next.js) for mission planning, visualization, and AI-human teaming.
• Collaborate with autonomy and robotics engineers to integrate diverse partner platforms into a unified orchestration environment.
• Incorporate AI-driven features into the user experience (e.g., intelligent mission planning assistance, anomaly detection, natural language inputs).
• Ensure operational resilience through rigorous testing (unit, integration, simulation-in-loop), observability, and security best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment across cloud and edge environments.
