About The Position

This role supports the RECON team within CNO by designing and delivering technical solutions. The engineer will work across product teams, systems, and technology stacks to build prototypes, improve existing capabilities, and create new tools to strengthen infrastructure cognizance. This opportunity offers broad technical ownership and a direct line to the mission, involving collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, rapid iteration, and turning ideas into deployable solutions. The work encompasses user interfaces, backend services, automation, and full lifecycle delivery. Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor’s degree)
  • Technology flexibility, demonstrated by experience developing across the stack, including UI and UX, middleware or APIs, back-end, and DevOps, and a willingness to use any necessary technology to achieve the solution
  • Experience developing with at least one UI framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Experience writing scripts and services in Python
  • RESTful web application experience using both Spring Boot and Python
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres or SQLite
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD

Nice To Haves

  • Prior CNO experience
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Understand mission needs, collaborate with teammates, gather user requirements, and quickly develop solutions
  • Independently drive feature development and own the full development lifecycle
  • Integrate with and contribute to a diverse set of teams, systems, and technology stacks
  • Design and create reliable, intuitive user interfaces and workflows
  • Develop solutions for data visualization, task automation, and workflow enhancement
  • Work directly with mission stakeholders to refine requirements and rapidly iterate toward deployable solutions
