About the position
The Full Stack Software Engineer at PLEX Solutions, LLC is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for both commercial and government clients. This role requires a strong background in full-stack development, with a focus on various technologies including Java, AngularJS, and Elasticsearch. The position supports a hybrid work model with telework options, and requires a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and related work.
- Proficient in Java 8, AngularJS, jQuery, and BackboneJS.
- Experience with REST, JMS, JSON, and Java Security.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, JUnit/Mockito, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong knowledge of Git/GitLab, Maven, Google Guice, and Docker.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
