Parsons is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join our team. In this role you will get to support key activities in defense of emerging threats in the cybersecurity domain. You will work as part of a team that develops and tailors capabilities with the goal to prevent and eradicate cyber threats to critical U.S. systems.

  • Work as part of an extended team to define and design systems to meet information protection needs and continually assess systems effectiveness in defense of emerging threats.
  • Develop, enhance, deploy, and maintain a complex software application in a cloud infrastructure in compliance with customer security requirements.
  • Confer with mission customers and Systems Engineers to derive software requirements, obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Create software interfaces and dashboards.
  • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
  • Recommend new technologies and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate in agile scrum cycles, contributing to design sessions, conducting peer reviews, and providing support for testing and documentation.
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Seven (7+) years' experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency with Linux OS, Python, SQL and relational databases, JavaScript, Elastic Search, Docker.
  • 5+ years of experience working within an IC Agency mission environment using tools and capabilities to generate threat intelligence.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFE methodologies.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Strong ability to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and interaction with other team members.
  • Ability to communicate with technical team members, managers, and customers.
  • Flexibility to deliver in accordance with scheduled priorities that may shift in a dynamic cyber environment.
  • Ability to automate workflows and processes using scripts and tools.
  • Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity particularly as they apply to gathering intelligence and analytics to identify threats.
