Full-Stack React/Node Engineer
About The Position
SOLTECH is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React / Node.js) to design and build modern, scalable web applications. In this role, you’ll work across the stack using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, helping shape architecture, deliver high-impact features, and mentor engineers. This is a high-ownership engineering role where senior developers drive technical decisions, influence system design, and help define best practices across the platform. If you enjoy solving complex problems, improving systems, and building modern software products — this role is for you. Role is remote, but candidates must be in the Atlanta metropolitan area. AI-Forward Software Delivery SOLTECH is an early adopter of AI-powered software delivery. Requirements
- 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building React applications with modern patterns (hooks, component architecture, state management)
- Backend development experience with Node.js and modern frameworks (Express, NestJS, or similar)
- Strong experience with TypeScript across the stack
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
- Experience with ORM or query tools such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize
- Ability to independently design and deliver production-grade full-stack features
- Comfortable working with: Docker and containerized development
- Linux-based environments
- CLI tooling and modern developer workflows
- Git-based collaborative development
- Experience using AI coding tools to accelerate development
- Ability to evaluate and responsibly apply AI-generated solutions
- Interest in building AI-enabled software products
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Experience building microservices or distributed systems
- Familiarity with Next.js, Vite, or modern React frameworks
- Experience implementing automated testing strategies
- Experience integrating AI services or building AI-enabled applications
- Mobile development experience (React Native)
