Full-Stack/Java Web Developer RC Willey is seeking an experienced and driven Full-Stack/Java Web Developer to join our Ecommerce team. This is an onsite, full-time salaried position located at our Corporate Offices.   We are looking for you to help maximize current project backlog and execute on future initiatives to drive business to our website. Work with key stakeholders and peers to deliver digital products that make it easy for our customers to do business with us.   • Possesses solid understanding of basic DOM scripting and client-side behavior
  • Knows current trends in front-end architecture (performance, accessibility, usability)
  • Supports site-wide front-end development strategy
  • Participates in peer reviews prior to deployments
  • Experience with GitLab and GitHub as development tools a must
  • Executes clean programming that enhances the customer UI/UX
  • Demonstrates proven ability to prioritize tasks and execute to deadlines
  • Immaculate attention to detail focused on pushing out changes on a weekly basis
  • Strong decision-making skills required in negotiating ad-hoc requests with your current workload
  • B.S. Degree in CS/IS or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of professional back-end Java development experience as well as proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, jQuery, and SCSS are required
  • IDE experience with IntelliJ, Eclipse or Netbeans required
  • Experience with backend programs MySQL, JSP preferred
  • Possess systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with hands-on experience in debugging/optimizing code
  • Ability to work in-office at least four days per week at Corporate Headquarters in South Salt Lake
  • Strong interpersonal skills and drive. Excellent communication skills required, able to contribute to discussions on design and strategy
  • Possess strong active listening and communication skills
  • Strong professional communications, both written and oral
