We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java/J2EE Developer to join our development team in Jefferson City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications. This role requires strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java/J2EE and related technologies
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and QA teams to deliver functional and technical requirements
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services
  • Create and maintain user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage database interactions (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security through best coding practices
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full-stack (UI, services, database)
  • Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java/J2EE
  • Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration
  • Strong database experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or SAFe)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Prior experience in healthcare, Medicaid/Medicare, or PBM-related systems is a plus
