About The Position
Our client, a leading global financial services company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining the frontend of applications while also developing REST APIs and providing support for various applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with a solid foundation in programming and technical fundamentals. A willingness to learn new technologies and concepts is essential, as is an openness to accepting challenges and suggestions from peers and leadership. In the backend development aspect, the candidate will be responsible for creating low latency and high throughput APIs using Spring Boot. A strong command of Core Java and functional programming is required, along with significant experience in data modeling and working with both relational and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle and MongoDB. The role also involves integrating APIs with third-party libraries and vendors, ensuring security measures are in place. The developer will be tasked with server-side design and development, creating common reusable components and services, and taking the initiative to research and recommend emerging technologies. Collaboration with global teams on critical project initiatives is a key part of this role, as is conducting peer code reviews, unit testing, and utilizing the CI/CD pipeline for application deployment. On the frontend side, the candidate must have experience as a React developer, demonstrating solid knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other frontend languages, including Node.js. Familiarity with React tools such as React.js, Webpack, Bootstrap, SASS, Express, Redux, and Flux is crucial. The candidate should also have a thorough understanding of end-to-end deployment processes for UI applications.
