About The Position
As a Senior Java Full Stack Systems Developer at our client, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of systems within a multi-tier environment. The client is a leading global financial services firm that provides a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management, and wealth management services. With a presence in over 1,200 offices across 43 countries, the firm emphasizes the importance of technology as a key differentiator in managing its global businesses and serving clients effectively. The Corporate Workplace Technology (CWT) department focuses on developing applications that support critical services across the firm, including Corporate Information Management, Corporate Real Estate, Property Management, and more. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on development of core Java applications, mentoring less experienced team members, and ensuring that the code produced adheres to best practices and aligns with the enterprise framework's architecture and integration design standards. You will work closely with business stakeholders to fulfill requirements and support solutions using JavaScript, Java, and RDBMS. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, take ownership of tasks, and be eager to create robust, well-tested solutions that address real business challenges. You will also interface with global teams to understand requirements, develop high-quality code, and deliver projects on time. The position requires participation in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and deployment. You will actively contribute to design discussions, participate in Agile Sprint planning sessions, and support continuous improvement of automated systems. This role is hybrid, requiring three days a week onsite, and offers the potential for conversion to a full-time position.
