About The Position

Techstra Solutions is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with Banking Domain expertise to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications for financial services clients. The role requires strong hands-on development across backend and frontend layers, with a focus on performance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA
  • Frontend experience with Angular / React / Vue.js , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Proven experience working in the banking or financial services domain
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance tuning
  • Experience with secure coding practices
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with core banking platforms or payment systems
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of ISO 8583, SWIFT, or payment gateways
  • Agile/Scrum development experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for banking systems
  • Build modern, responsive frontend applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Implement banking-grade security controls including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand banking requirements (accounts, payments, lending, KYC, AML)
  • Perform code reviews , debugging, and performance optimization
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and compliance standards
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in DevOps activities
